The XL series meets high combustible range standards and has passed ATEX certification. These vacuum pumps and compressors comply with guidelines 94 / 9 / EG, categories 1 and 2, and were designed with the API 681 specification considered.

Nash's variable cone port design allows compression forces to offset the weight of the rotor and shaft, thus minimizing the running load of the bearings.
